FALL FUN RALLY
Saturday September 11th, 2010 to Sunday September 12th, 2010
The Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers of Greater Victoria Chapter 065 is sponsoring the 2010 Fall Fun Rally on September 11-12, 2010 at the Archie Browning Sports Centre.
The focus of the rally is to promote safe motorcycle riding, have some fun, but more importantly to grant a heart-felt wish to a local child, living with a life threatening illness. Working with the Children’s Wish Foundation, we will grant this wish to a local child that has been registered with the Children’s Wish Foundation. The staff and volunteers of the Foundation work tirelessly to maintain the highest quality of service to the wish families with attention to the minutest details so as to ensure the total satisfaction of each and every wish child. The proceeds collected from the event will go toward this cause.
The agenda for this year is designed to encourage the participation of riders and spectators alike. The Rally kicks off Saturday morning with the 30th Annual Victoria Toy Run sponsored by Canadian Biker Magazine. Motorcyclists from all over the Island will descend on the parking lot of Steve Drane Harley for the ride lead by old white beard himself to the Archie Browning Sports Centre in Esquimalt.
Following the Toy Run, the festivities start around 11:00 with a Motorcycle Rodeo where the skills of the riders are challenged, and then dance the night away to the sounds of The Crawl in the curling rink at 8:00 pm.
Sunday morning starts a new day with a ‘Clown’s Breakfast’ provided by the Shriners Clowns followed by the Serious Poker Run and winds down with a motorcycle show and shine at the Sports Centre. Bikes in all categories are welcomed – metric, American or ‘built by me’.
There will be door prize draws throughout both days and local vendors will be on site on Saturday. Food is always on Barbie by the Shriners Clowns will also be entertaining the young ones.
