They called themselves tame apes, hookers and hi-riggers and they were the stuff of legend in the coastal forests. This summer The Other Guys Theatre Company, with the Royal BC Museum, presents an original musical review featuring the songs and stories of the western logger. Good Timber is a romp through the past set against a multi-media backdrop of rarely-seen imagery of BC’s old-time logging history. Good Timber is inspired by “Rhymes of the Western Logger”, a compilation of logging camp poetry by Robert E. Swanson.
