The drivers of two vehicles involved in a head on collision on Highway 1 at Leigh Road have been transported to hospital with serious injuries.
West Shore RCMP, say their Traffic Unit, BC Ambulance and Langford Fire Rescue responded a 2 vehicle head-on collision involving a blue Honda Pilot and silver Honda CRV. The collision occurred on the TCH on an undivided curve between Leigh Road and West Shore Parkway. The drivers of both vehicles were the lone occupants.
Investigators remained at scene to determine the cause of the collision. Highway 1 was closed for several hours near Leigh Road in both directions while the investigation was completed.
There has been no word on what caused the collision.
