Alpine Ski Resort digs out from under record snowfall
Mount Washington Alpine Ski Resort is still digging out from under a record 110 cm of snow in a 24 hour period.
Crews have been working hard to clear roads, rescuing stranded snow enthusiasts when their vehicles became stuck.
Sheila Rivers spokesperson for Mount Washington Alpine Resort, says three runs are now open, and the vibe was chill:
"Even though we have these challenges, I had guests stranded at the lodge offering to help us. This snow event is one of the biggest we've had in about 20 years.'
The snow base at the Alpine Ski Resort is bragging rights: 272 cms, including fresh powder.
