BC Ferries has resumed sailings on several southern routes after cancelling sailings earlier Friday due to high winds.
Spokesperson Deborah Marshall says service resumed with the 3:00 sailings on the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay routes, as well as Nanaimo's Duke Point to Tsawwassen, and Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay routes.
But Marshall says there could still be disruptions:
" There are still some winds out there though this evening, so someĀ of our sailings may become delayed, and I know that there are several more storm fronts predicted to some through over the weekend."
Marshall advises anyone travelling by ferry to call ahead, or monitor the BC Ferries website or Twitter.
