West Shore RCMP are investigating another robbery early this morning involving a bike-riding suspect.
It happened about 12:30 AM on the foot bridge across from the Galloping Goose trail, near Belmont Road and Kuper Ave in Colwood.
The victim reported being threatened by a man on a bike who produced a knife and demanded the victim’s wallet.
The victim did not hand his wallet over, and was not harmed, and the suspect rode away toward Sooke Rd in the direction of Denny’s Restaurant.
The suspect is a white male in his 20s, about 5'10 to 5' 11" tall, with a slim build, stubble on his face, wearing jeans, a grey shirt, his black baseball cap was worn backwards, and he had a black backpack. The bike was a black BMX bike.
Westshore RCMP are investigating 2 similar cases that took place earlier this week involving a suspect matching the same description.
