The body of a man pulled from the waters off Tofino on July 18 has been positively identified.
The BC Coroners Service used dental records to determine the identity and has now been confirmed it is a 39-year-old Tofino man, who was reported to have been on board a boat that capsized June 15th.
Tofino RCMP were called to assist in the search for 3 men who were believed to have been in an overturned boat off the coast of Tofino. A large scale search failed to locate the men.
The two other men, a 21-year-old and a 34-year-old, both from Meares Island have not yet been located.
