Many residents in Victoria were woken up to just before 6am to what some descirbed as 'like a truck hitting the house.' others thought blasting was being down at the Mackenzie interchange.
Just before 6:00am there was a 3.1 magnitude earth quake in Sequim, Washington. In the waters between Vancouver Island and the US. There was no Tusnami Warning issued, and no reports of any damage.
