Friends, family and supporters of a grieving father will be taking part in the annual Lindsay Buziak Walk For Justice Saturday.
The walk is in memory of the 24 year old realtor, stabbed to death inside an empty Saanich home on February 2, 2008 -- 11 years ago. The case is still unsolved.
Her father, Jeff, is travelling from Alberta to lead the walk which starts at 10 a.m. at the Royal Oak Burial Park and progresses to Saanich Police headquarters.
" I do know people coming from out of town, I have friends coming from Alberta, and people coming from the U.S. It's people who are really troubled and concerned about how this can still be unsolved after 11 years when Victoria is really a small close knit community. People know, and people don't seem to want to talk. "
Police have said Lindsay was likely lured to the home by a couple pretending to be interested in buying it. The young realtor was viciously stabbed on the second floor of the house, suffering stab wounds to her head and chest.
Police have appealed for information -- but still don't have what they require to recommend charges or make an arrest.
