Beginning Tuesday and continuing throughout the day you may notice a lot of activity in the skies over the Victoria coastline and even downtown.
The Royal Canadian Air Force says it will be conducting formation flights of its CH-124 Sea King helicopter.
The flights are part of the lead up to the Royal Canadian Air Force's Sea King retirement events on November 30 and December 1 at 12 Wing's 443 Maritime Helicopter Squadron in Patricia Bay
A ceremonial parade and flypast on December 1 will celebrate over 55 years of the Sea King's service to the Canadian Armed Forces and Canada.
Fly-bys by RCAF aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety.
