Campaigning for Canada's 43rd general election starts this week, and Greater Victorians will have a chance to hear from potential local representatives on key issues.
The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City of Victoria, Destination Greater Victoria, the Downtown Victoria Business Association, and other community organizations to host a panel discussion.
Key priorities for our region will be discussed and debated by the candidates for Greater Victoria. Each candidate will have two minutes to discuss their platforms on labour shortage, affordable housing, improved transportation, climate change solutions, available and affordable child care, and reconciliation.
The event will run from 5:30 to 7:30 on Wednesday, September 11th, at the Victoria Conference Centre's lecture theatre.
