There is one day left to make your voice heard on ICBC rate fairness.
The BC Government has been asking residents to weigh in on how to design an auto insurance rating system that would make drivers more accountable for their decisions and driving behaviours.
So far almost 30-thousand people have shared their views online and through individual submissions.
The government is seeking feedback on everything from using crashes and driver experience to determine basic insurance premiums, giving bigger discounts to low-risk drivers, and balancing basic rates to reflect increased risks associated with driver behaviour, location or how a vehicle is used.
You have until 4pm Thursday, April 5th to take part. Engagement site link: http://engage.gov.bc.ca/ratefairness/
