Just four full shopping days until Christmas.
And, so far it appears to be busy with shoppers in the downtown core.
Jeff Bray, interim director of the Downtown Victoria Business Association says business owners he's talked to say it’s been busy and steady.
"I was downtown last week with our roving Santa at a local toy store and we were doing a photo op, and we couldn't get the photo down because the number of people walking in the front door and that was indicative of several locations on Government Street."
Bray says while parking continues to be an issue for some members, the DVBA, along with the City and other stakeholders, continue to advocate for alternatives to bringing your car downtown.
