West Shore RCMP arrested a wanted man during a traffic stop Wedesday in Langford.
Around 3:00 pm the RCMP Bike Unit noticed a vehicle leaving a home known to be associated with criminal activity.
When the vehicle was stopped, officers recognized the driver as a 37 year old Langford man with outstanding warrants for his arrest for death threats.
A search yielded a collapsible baton, a modified airsoft pistol with a silencer, and suspected drugs.
The man was held in custody pending a court hearing related to his warrants today.
Investigators are forwarding another report to Crown Counsel for consideration of weapons and drugs charges.
