Yesterday was Law Day in Victoria and the courthouse opened its doors to the public to get a first hand glimps on how law enforcement works in our community.
On the front lawn there was a K-9 demo, and a judges' talk was held in courtroom 203 with Jugde Brooks and Master Bouck.
There were also students competing in the B.C. Provincial High School Mock Trial Competition and community groups explaining their role in the justice system. People also had the
opportunity to look in cells and the police sheriffs' vehicle.
