The mayor of Victoria has hinted she may not be interested in seeking a second term in office.
Speaking on CFAX 1070, Lisa Helps says it's not a given she will run again.
"I didn't get into this job to be a politician; I got into this job to get things done. We have had three years almost of this term. It's too early to determine what will happen. When people say I'm never going to vote for you again, whatever, I didn't get elected so I would get elected again."
The mayor was answering questions on her weekly show with Mark Brennae about divisive issues like bike lanes, the police chief and a possible ban on plastic bags.
