Not guilty plea entered for Duncan couple accused of animal cruelty in connection with Teddy the dog
Teddy was found at a Duncan residence on February 16. The dog was severely emaciated with a collar deeply embedded in his neck. The dog was on a chain only inches long and was standing in a pile of mud and feces, according to SPCA officials.
The Duncan couple accused of animal cruelty in connection with Teddy the dog have pleaded not guilty.
Melissa Tooshley and Anderson Joe entered the plea Wednesday June 5.

The couple face up to five years in jail, a $10,000 fine for cruelty, and a lifetime ban on owning animals.
They next scheduled court date is June 19. This will be to set a trial date; the pair is not expected to appear.
