A public funeral and procession will be held Saturday to honour Victoria's 31st Fire Chief.
Doug Angrove lost his battle with cancer on May 12th.
He devoted 34 years of his career to the Fire Service in British Columbia, eight with the Victoria Fire Department.
The procession will begin at 1:00pm from the parking lot on the corner of Lyall Street and Canteen Road, and will move east on Lyall Street to the Archie Browning Sports Centre curling rink for a 2:00pm service.
Victoria police will conduct a rolling street closure while the procession is underway. Public seating will be available on a first-come basis at the curling rink.
