CENTRAL SAANICH: New cenotaph in Pioneer Park at 1209 Clarke Rd. in Brentwood Bay. 10:30 am
SIDNEY: Veterans parade begins 10:30 am at the Mary Winspear Centre. Route continues on Beacon Avenue and ends at the Sidney Town Hall cenotaph where the ceremony starts at 10:50am. Two minutes of silence at 11am followed by a fly past/wreath laying.
COLWOOD: Due to the Colwood Remembrance Service being moved to the Colwood Cenotaph, the 7th Juan de Fuca Scout Group will be holding a Remembrance service at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre's Cenotaph, as they feel no cenotaph should be left alone today. They will form up at John Stubbs Elementary in Belmont Park at 10:00 am, and march to the cenotaph for services at 10:45 am.
ROYAL ROADS UNIVERSITY: Vancouver Island Ex-Cadet Club ceremony in Italian Garden. 10:40 am
LANGFORD: Parade of veterans, police, fire and emergency services personnel, cadets, Girl Guides, Scouts and other groups from the Langford Legion to Veterans Memorial Park, starting at 10 am. Remembrance Day ceremony starts 10:50 am. Open House to follow at Langford Legion Branch 91, 761Station Ave.
(*The intersection at Goldstream Avenue and Veterans Memorial Parkway will be closed during the parade and the two minutes of silence).
GOLDSTREAM PROVINCIAL PARK: Aboriginal ceremony with personnel from Maritime Forces Pacific/Joint Task Force Pacific on behalf of the Canadian Armed Forces. 9am
