A chronic offender nabbed for driving while prohibited has been nabbed again -- right after leaving the courthouse.
Thursday morning the West Shore RCMP's Bike Unit was conducting surveillance of property crime offenders in Colwood when they recognized a man they knew was not supposed to be driving, leave the courthouse.
Derek Ernest Fast, 32, had just appeared in court on charges of driving while prohibited, and impaired driving.
Moments later they saw Fast operating a vehicle, which he had parked down the road from the Courthouse, and arrested him.
He was back in court Friday charged with one new count of driving while prohibited. Fast was also wanted on several new warrants and was held in custody.
