The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge returned to Victoria Wednesday night after a day in Yukon.
When the motorcade arrived along Rockland Avenue, a crowd of royal watchers lined the road trying catch a glimpse. They were rewarded with a quick wave from an open car window before the motorcade continued onto the grounds of Government House.
Prince William and Kate, along with their children Price George and Princess Charlotte, will host a children's party at Government House Thursday. The guest list includes young members of the local 4-H club and military families.
After that, the royal tour has scheduled some private time.
Government House in Victoria is the home base of the Royal Tour, which still has a couple of days left. On Friday they travel to Haida Gwaii and on Saturday they spend their final day in Victoria.
