Greater Victoria is expected to have an influx of new students, and the School District is seeking feedback for new catchment boundaries.
The Greater Victoria School District is expecting an increase of 18-hundred students over the next 10 years, and is trying to balance registration according to each school's capacity.
The District is looking over catchment boundaries, the geographical area that determines which school a student will attend.
A survey has been created to gather input from current and future parents and guardians, as well as members of the community.
All input will be shared with the Board of Education in December, and an open house will be held in early 2019 to discuss the new proposed boundaries.
More information on the catchment boundaries can be found here.
