Snow continues to cause issues for commuters and schools on the south island.
BC Transit has an advisory out that all routes may be experiencing some delays through the day due to snow and ice.
As for schools:
-Sooke schools are open but buses may be delayed. The bus going from Port Renfrew to Sooke is not running today.
- Both Camosun College campuses are open.
- St Michael's University school is open and the buses are running.
-Lighthouse Christian Academy is closed.
-Victoria schools are open, but the buses are not running.
- Pacific School of Innovation and Inquiry in Victoria, is open.
-Saanich school buses are not running and schools are not operating though there may be some supervisory duties underway if administrators can get into the schools.
-Pacific Christian School is closed today.
-Salt Spring Island schools are closed today.
-Cowichan School district is closed today.
-Queen Margaret school in Duncan is closed.
-Elizabeth Buckley School is closed.
-Discovery School is closed.
-The Lau-wel-new Tribal School in Brentwood Bay is closed.
-Maria Montessorri Acdamy is closed.
-The Juan de Fuca Seniors Centre is closed.
And the Pat Bay Highway is reported to be very slick this morning with Saanich Fire Department advising people to use caution and leave room between you and the vehicle ahead of you.
