The snowy conditions are wreaking havoc across greater Victoria with number cancellations.
Here are some of notable delays or cancellations.
Greater Victoria Schools:
The University of Victoria has closed its campus for the day. The CARSA Performance Centre has also been closed.
Royal Roads University has closed its rec centre and library but the campus remains open as of 2:00p.m.
Sooke Schools are closing early in the District. Parents are being asked to pick up their kids early.
Saanich Schools are encouraging parents to pick up their kids as well.
The Victoria Curling Club says all league matches are cancelled this evening and the club itself will close at 3:00pm.
The Cridge Centre is reporting that the school care centre is not picking up children.
Parents are being asking pick up their kids themselves.
The James Bay Neighbourhood Association says their general meeting is cancelled tonight and will take place next Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.

TRANSPORTATION:
B.C.Transit is reporting a number of delays and cancellations on several routes in greater Victoria.
Victoria routes 3, 6, 11, 14, 21, 22, 24, 32, 39, 52, 54/55, 56/57, 59/60, 72, 75 and 83 are on modified schedules. Victoria Route 35 has been cancelled.

Victoria International Airport says there are a number of delays and cancellations due to weather there and at other airports on the west coast. They are asking travelers to check their website for updates.
Harbour Air Seaplanes has cancelled the remaining flights for the day.
