Someone shot at a BC Transit Bus near Craigflower and Admirals about 8am Wednesday morning punching holes in 2 windows and shattering the surrounding glass according to witnesses.
West Shore RCMP say the damage was caused by a pellet gun. Thankfully no one on the fully-loaded double decker bus was injured.
It happened as the fully-loaded double decker bus travelled down the Old Island Highway at Shoreline, directly across from the school.
The window directly behind the driver, and the bottom back window of the bus were damaged.
Transit's Communications Manager Jonathon Dyck says the cameras on board the bus may play an important role in finding whoever did this:
" This was a CCTV enabled bus. So we'll be reviewing the tape, and will be reviewing the tape with the RCMP as well so that they have all the evidence from our side as part of our due diligence "
West Shore RCMP confirm the pellets struck at the same height, but would not speculate if that would point to a passing car.
