A Burnaby man is facing two counts of sex related offences after a four month online investigation.
VicPD's only dedicated Internet Child Exploitation Investigator began looking into the man in December of 2016, and over the course of the investigation they came to believe the man wanted to come to Victoria to sexually abuse a child.
Last Friday the man was arrested at Swartz Bay and a search warrant carried out at his residence in Burnaby by the local RCMP.
Alyx Lusignan, 29, has been charged with two offences: One count of Making Child Pornography. And one count of Agreement or Arrangement to commit a sexual offence against a child.
He is scheduled in court on March 20th.
