A Victoria man is facing over 50 recommended charges after being arrested downtown last week. Vic PD were first tipped off by a witness who saw the suspect trying door handles on vehicles and called 9-1-1.
After several days of investigation, offices executed a search warrant last Thursday, and found hundreds of items that are believed to be stolen, including dozens of stolen pieces of personal identification.
Drugs and cash were also seized which included; 10 grams of cocaine, 7 grams of methamphetamine, 6 grams of marijuana, over 20 grams of heroin/fentanyl, and over 25 thousand dollars.
The suspect, a Victoria man, faces over 50 charges including charges for trafficking, possession of stolen property; identify theft, possession of stolen identity documents and failure to comply with a probation order.
Police have released photos of some of the stolen goods that include jewelry and artefacts and are asking members of the public to see if they recognize anything.
