West Shore RCMP were called to an apparent carjacking in Langford at 9 p.m. Monday night.
It happened near the Millstream Village McDonalds in Langford. A 52 year old man reports he was sitting in his idling car when a man opened the driver's side door, grabbed him by the shoulders, and threw him out of the vehicle onto the ground.
The man then drove away, nearly running over the victim who suffered minor injuries to his wrist, elbow, and hip. He was treated in hospital.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5'7" and 160 lbs, about 30 to 40 years old. He was wearing a black jacket, white pants, beige boots and a black toque.
The stolen vehicle is a white 2009 Nissan Versa, BC Licence FL5-41W. It has a U85 Parking pass in the rear window.
