West Shore RCMP have released video surveillance of two suspects stealing an ATM machine from a convenience store in Langford on the weekend, and a similar attempted theft a week prior.
The break and enter and theft happened early Saturday morning at about 3:48am at a store on Happy Valley Road.
Video also shows one of the suspects hauling the ATM machine out of the store.
One man was wearing a baseball cap, jacket and long pants.
The second suspect wore a hoodie (with the hood up), a winter jacket with possible fur collared hood, and long pants.
West Shore RCMP report a similar crime occurred the previous Saturday, February 2 just after 5am --at a different convenience store.
The store employee reported a man ran into the store, placed a tow wire around the ATM, and then atttempted to haul the machine away -- using the white F150 truck he was driving.
The tow wire snapped and the suspect fled empty-handed.
